Preach My Gospel is the guide every missionary studies. This elder seems to be citing a chapter his companion hasn't read yet.
The Book of Mormon describes a repeating “pride cycle”: people prosper, grow proud, fall, and are humbled. Some mission bikes are already at the proud stage.
In Mark 10:14 Jesus says, “Suffer the little children to come unto me.” In the King James Version, “suffer” means “allow.” Teaching a lesson over a toy drum tests that interpretation.
In Doctrine and Covenants 4:4 the Lord tells missionaries “the field is white already to harvest.” These sisters found a field that is very white, very ready, and full of dandelions.
